I am Peruvian, mom and a Spanish teacher (Child Development Associate Teacher Permit in California) who worked as inter-student at Child Study Center, LMC and taught Spanish for over 3 years to toddlers and school age kids in the Alameda area. Also in a center of foreign language as teacher and giving personal tutoring to school age children.

After my experience, I think that teaching when children are young is the best stage in a child’s life to learn a new language, not only because learning a foreign language is easier for children, but also because children who are exposed to other languages do better in school, score higher on standardized tests and are better problem solvers and are more open to diversity.

One of the main reasons that motivated me to open my daycare is because I understand perfectly as a mother, to have to leave our children in the care of other people is difficult. So I can guarantee that your young ones are going have a place where they will to feel loved, safe and also will learn many new things including a second language, interacting in Spanish with others bilingual children.
